“Georgia” Peach Noodle Kugel
/Ingredients:
5 Fresh Peaches or 1 Bag Frozen
16 ounces wide egg noodles
8 ounces cream cheese (softened)
6 large eggs
1 cup sugar + 1 tsp sugar
1/2 cup butter (melted)
1/2 cup graham cracker crumbs
1 tsp ground cinnamon
1. Preheat oven to 350
2. Peel and cut peaches into slices. Chop and set aside. Mix the 1 tsp of sugar, graham cracker crumbs, and cinnamon. Set aside.
3. Cook noodles according to package directions; drain and set aside.
4. Beat cream cheese, eggs, 1 cup of sugar, sour cream, and melted butter at medium speed with an electric mixer until blended.
5. Stir in 2/3 of the chopped peaches and cooked noodles.
6. Spoon into a lightly greased 13x9x2 inch baking dish.
7. Bake for 1 hour until set.
