Whole Wheat Chocolate Chip Cookies
/Ingredients:
3 1/4 cups sifted fresh milled soft white wheat flour
1 cup Kerry Gold butter
1/2 cup sugar
1 cup dark brown sugar
2 eggs
3 tsp vanilla
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp baking powder
1 tsp baking soda
1 1/2 cups chocolate chips
1. Prepare dough: Brown the butter. While hot add both sugars and whisk. Let cool. Add eggs and vanilla then whisk. Add baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Whisk well. Add flour and chocolate chips and mix.
5. Scoop dough: Scoop dough into balls and let sit for at least 1 hour in the fridge. Place balls of dough on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
6. Bake: Preheat oven to 375. Bake for 5 minutes at 375. Reduce to 325 and bake for another 5-6 minutes until lightly golden.
